Creamy Beef and Shells Pasta (Grown-Up Helper!!)

Hey yall!!!

Back in September, Hurricane season was CRAZY in the Gulf. It seemed like Houston was preparing for a hurricane every other day! If you don't know what preparing for a hurricane is like, just imagine grocery store frenzy! For me, the best way to get in and out the store and not have to go back for a while is usually a pasta or casserole. They last longer, and taste better everyday as the flavors sink in!

So without further ado..I present hurricane-perfect Creamy Pasta Grown-Up Helper (seasoned with Avocado Crack and WAY better than the box version).


Avocado Crack (your favorite variety, I used Original)

Pasta shells

1lb Ground meat (I used ground beef)

1tbs olive oil

5 Minced garlic cloves

Diced onions (I used red onions, pick your fave!)

2 tbs of flour 

1 cup of beef stock, or Better than Bullion (which I used)

15oz jar of Marinara sauce

3/4 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups shredded cheese ( I used cheddar)



Boil pasta

Brown meat in skillet with olive oil (don't forget to season your meat with Avocado Crack Seasoning!)

Drain fat and set meat to the side

Add diced onion and garlic to skillet where you browned the meat

Stir flour into the skillet until lightly browned, then slowly add in beef stock

Once everything is stirred and combined, add in marinara sauce and season with more Avocado Crack to taste!

Bring sauce to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until it thickens

After about 6-8 minutes, stir the cooked pasta and beef into the sauce, then stir in the heavy cream, sour cream and cheese.

You may need to add more Avocado Crack to the finished dish to ensure optimum flavor!

This is one of the best pasta dishes I have made in a long time! It is absolutely delicious and perfectly creamy. Enjoy!
